Halo: Silenitum & the Forerunner Saga

Wasn't sure if thi shsould go here or in video games, so sorry if I got the wrong category.

I just finished reading Silenitum, and holy crap Greg Bear is awesome. Totally makes up for the complete TRASH that was Primoridum.

This is some seriously good Sci-Fi. Anyone else read it? I'm about to watch the 40-minute epilogue movie on Halo waypoint (the code for it is hidden in the novel)
