I'm probably going to offend half the forum, but I don't understand how people like Hostess. Twinkies are like a foam of pure sugar molecules. Their other products only vary in how much air they choose to trap in their foam, and the colorings they use. I like sweets and unhealthy foods as much as the next guy, but this is the fast food of the dessert industry.

There will be twinkies and wonderbread in the future. ~16k American UNION workers chose to lose their jobs by forcing Hostess to go out of business instead of accepting an 8% pay cut. A pay cut the company needed to institute in order for them to keep their doors open longer and try and get into the black. Way to go union! Hopefully those 16k American workers can find job, but in this economy... The company's assets will be bought by a private company, they will hire back non-union workers, and shortly they'll be producing the treats some of us enjoy...

Dunkin' Donuts produces Munchkins, which are high-brow compared to anything Hostess produces. Just go to Dunkin' Donuts and get your carbs there.
