    Re: Magic: The Gathering

I had the wrong version up. The real one is just a douchebag card and not when you have someone running It That Betrays on a Eldrazi Token Deck which you can sacrifice tokens left and right. Plus having a land card that reduces Eldrazi spell cost (forgot the card name). You want to know why I hate it. Because I built an Eldrazi Spawn Token deck and had it used against me and I got roflstomped with something I made. I'll have to call my friend Samantha and get the specs of what I put into it. But granted, I still enjoy my OTK Poison deck. It's running 16/4 at the moment. Lost to....

      Re: Magic: The Gathering

Even with Eye of Ugin, Eldrazi Temples, Expedition Maps, Green Ramp and Eldrazi Spawn . . . they are still only of a barely passable speed.

And you're running a genuinely degenerative Infect deck because you're afraid of it?

I mean, 12 mana is still 12 freaking mana. Again, if you don't kill them by then, they're not the problem.

        Re: Magic: The Gathering

Both of those cards are easily countered by any half decently constructed deck. Quite honestly, I'd love to play my Blue/Artifact deck against anybody who thinks that "It That Betrays" is a good card and actually uses it. There's a reason it retails for $4.00 in Scrye. I'm sorry.

Like I said, I normally run Elves with Elvish Piper which allows me to swarm easily and commence on a zerg rush. I like ending the matches before they kick off. Since when people are given a slight chance it will really fall apart on your end. I've given people 3 turns and they pull that one card they always need and shut me down. Oh did I say I love Pacifism? I don't think I did yet. I like running those in my White Life Gain.

It's taboo if you don't run these in an Elf deck.

ITT Timmy cards are overpowered and by extension so is removal since it can beat Timmy cards?

If you're playing an aggressive deck they should be dead long before they get 8-12 mana, and if you're playing a control deck you should have an answer to any of the threats named so far.

                    Re: Magic: The Gathering

Timmy cards aren't OP, they're just big & flashy - generally too overcosted to really see use.

You're thinking of Spike, or in some cases Johnny.

We were talking about Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and It That Betrays. Specifically how much Melody hates them which I paraphrased as calling them OP.

More like ITT, Johnny is afraid of Timmy, and goes all-out Spike in retaliation.

It's funny to watch a Control Vs Swarm. Since there's too many little creatures to take over. Then again meat shields are always nice. 1/1 Blockers I guess.
