So, Gruul is looking like the #1 pick thus far for Limited. Seriously good stuff thus far. I'd put Orzhov @ second - Dimir is probably the strongest guild this set, but I feel like it's much more viable in constructed than limited unless you get really lucky with the draft picks. That Thrull for example, puts Orzhov very near the top. Having both a 1 and 2-drop extort option at common can not be underestimated.
I don't get it either. I never adjust my decks hardly at all once they're complete. I can list 2 decks I play with that even utilize a sideboard at all. And even those I can't recall actually tapping into more than 1 or 2 times.
Depends for me.
If my deck is still definitely a WIP like my Modern Dimir Milling Deck then yeah I will be making changes often, and it will have both a Sideboard and a "Maybeboard"
If it is a competitive deck then you bet I'm going to make a sideboard. A Competitive Deck without a sideboard isn't maximising your chances of winning.
If it is a casual deck that I feel is not complete then it will have one.
If it is a casual deck that I feel is complete but I can have some options, I will make a sideboard.
If it is a casual deck that I feel is complete or doesn't really need one, I don't have one
Basically for me it depends on the deck and how competitive the deck is intended to be. That said I am a deckbuilder, it is why I dislike Standard since once the metagame is down to a certain few decks, there are very few real choices in terms of what deck to use unless you want people who completely miss the point of "Deckbuilding for Fun" telling you to "Stop having fun and play whatever Spike deck is best for the colour of the deck" or something
To be fair YM, you are the one that plays the faster decks in Multiplayer so you do sometimes beat Cid and myself to "fastest person to get a huge target on their head".
Which is probably why TM ends up winning a lot due to Cid's "Bomberman Principle".
As I recall, cid and I often end up killing each other.

Reason: The exact same rationale applies behind my choice to use fast decks and my general dislike of multiplayer: I like games that don't take forever.

However much I am actually smart, I got that way by confronting how stupid I am.
Well in pretty much all multiplayer formats (Except maybe 2HG), the game doesn't get doing until about 4-5 turns in so it is actually not a bad place to test out slower decks too. it's why I also see little value in 1/1's without any notable abilities and one drops that are 1/1's. They die fast and it is a slot in the deck that could have gotten you towards your endgame strategy.
It is why the fast aggro players tend to take each other out with the "winner" being picked off a turn or two later. Multiplayer Magic should be thought of as more a Marathon and not a Sprint.
Holy Crap. Imagine dropping that plus Wrath of God, plus a second Boros Charm for Double Strike.
Mezlo: I might be available tomorrow evening GMT (so early afternoon for you I think). But with no D&D on tomorrow I have been making plans so I probably won't be available until then anyway. Best bet would be to just send me a Skype message if you see me on. Sunday is no go really since it is a Raid Night on SWTOR and everyone in the raid roster likes to meet up for Roleplay after.
^ ~ ^ friend came over today, unborked my PC. I even managed to find where my original deck files were so all my decks are back (WHEW!)
Still installing/fixing some things but otherwise my PC is mostly running normal again. If anyone wants to play tonight lemme know. And yeah, Boros getting some love finally - not just the charm, but Aurelia's Fury is crazy too - WTF Instant Speed X damage spell o_O!?
