The first game with Yyg did show me where I can improve the deck I built, and it did also confirm to me that splashing blue is far, far, far more useful than splashing green, and not taking a blue splash is the main thing I regret with my deck (since it also throws me out of my comfort zone).
Still I wanted a deck that would be challenging for both me and my opponent and the losses were pretty damn close so I'm happy so far.

What sort of deck were you playing?

The main reason I asked in the first place is because I wanted to know if he took my advice from last page for splashing Green as opposed to Blue in a Rakdos aggro deck and derpishly applied it to a different deck entirely. XD

There appears to be an uncanny three-way symmetry between the matches between Yyg, Firewind, and myself. It's as if Yyg is rock, I'm paper, and FW is scissors. XD

To be fair it wasn't as if they could have been closer (especially the first around, that one really could have gone either way). It was only the Third Round where your opening hand basically had what it needed to stop my deck.
My "opening hand" was four Plains, Precinct Captain, and an O-Ring. XD
Yeah, if only I had one of my O-Rings that first game, I would've totally had it. =/ They're a 3-of main deck, so it really was just bad luck.
The second game double-Huntmaster just card-advantaged me to death (or rather, led me to eventually being card advantaged to death by Mizium Mortars). Nevermore was because one Huntermaster, with the hand I had, was far preferable to an Olivia. Two Huntermasters, however . . .

Yeah that is why I was surprised that you didn't declare Huntmaster with Nevermore at first, but the two that you DID pick were good choices since Olivia was in my opening hand and I drew that other card a couple of turns after you played the second Nevermore.
