There's one other show I really wanted to see if I could find but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. It was similar to power rangers in style but it was only 3 people IIRC and it was later revealed that the main character's father was one of the villains in a very Darth Vader-like fashion.

I did manage to find this obscure little gem though O.O

Can't agree with this 100%, but I do now....

Look at the cartoons of each decade.....

Each one has had the crappy ones....

Ren and Stempy was really, really horrible for a cartoon. Also Misadventures.... Just compare the cartoons, all of them side by side by dacades.

I can't believe nobody has dug up youtube links to the intro sequences and theme songs for Big Bad Beetle Borgs, Street Sharks, or Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad.

The only one of those three I recognize are Street Sharks, and I always saw those as cheap TMNT knock-offs (same with Biker Mice from Mars.) I just looked up the other two, I'm amused. The only Power Ranger knock-offs I remember from that era are VR Troopers.

Was the one you couldn't remember VR Troopers?
That was power ranger-ish and had 3 characters, I remember the main guy was always on about his father. The tv station i watched it on never broadcast the full series though.
British Tv used to do that a lot. Broadcasting partial series or with the x-men when bbc had the rights to broadcast it during school holidays you'd get the episodes in messed up sequences totally confusing the stories when some were linked.
