    I'm not sure which I'm depresses me more: the fact that you'd have a naginata, or the fact that you'd use one.

    Oh. Also, interesting biology stuff conveniently cashing in on the "z-word" craze. The local police department has been making a more pathetic comparison in what is obviously a desperate grab for attention from an otherwise ignorant public.

    This flyer was actually posted inside-facing-out of a Mochi yogurt store.

      YM, you must be awfully depressed considering how many people own (and would use) weapons. <_<;

      But yeah, from the beginning of articles and videos about this it's obvious the use of the word Zombie is meant to bring attention to the issue, and if it works I think it's a good way of rising awareness. But again, this is just a symptom of a much bigger issue many will not face because it's just too inconvenient for their way of life.

        Oh no, it's not the weapons thing I'm concerned about. I'm pretty sure weapons are mandatory for a zombie apocalypse fantasy.

        It's the fact that his melee weapon of choice would be a naginata that bothers me.

          Hey, spear + shotgun works pretty great in the first two sections of Bastion.

            As long as it isn't for confined close quarter fights like inside a building I'd also pick a Naginata to be honest. It has a nice range to keep you away from the Zombies while providing nice piercing damage and can double as a crowd control if used well. While a Katana would be more convenient as a side arm in case you run out of ammo or your weapon fails on you.

            I'd personally go with a Katana + dual pistols and lots of ammo strapped all around and maybe a hidden blade or two. That provides nice stopping power against zombies while allowing you free movement for running away or reaching advantage positions faster. Automatic weapons are powerful but ammo and maneuverability would always be an issue for me.

              Ray pretty much summed up the point of it. It's great for controlling crowds, and has many other uses as well.

              As for a nother melee weapon, I would of course have a shortblade so I could fight in close quarters.
