I'm not sure if it's my height "or lack of it 5ft 6in" but I never seem to be able to talk to a woman while looking at her face. instead I'm sort of top boob/neck area. At times I thought they must think I@m a perv. I just dont find it comfy to talk to somebody looking up like I'm trapped down a well.
Are you sure you're just not looking towards their boobs?
I mean, I've seen plenty of women below 5'6 (or roughly 168-170cm) here...although I'm in a completely different country than yours, so that might have to do with it? I tend to jump between multiple states a year for visiting family, school, interning (though this one is ending), etc. and this statement typically remains true--sure there are some beastly women at 5'10 + but a lot of them average around your height area.
So, I'm about 2/3 done with Starting Strength. I recommend this book to anyone that goes to the gym or would like to, but doesn't know where to start. Helped me see that I was both doing the wrong exercises, and doing the right exercises the wrong way. For just $10 it's a steal.
Bleh, doc says I need more cardio. Apparently the walk to and from work isn't cutting it. There's not really a good time for it in my schedule. I get home, eat dinner, do the dishes and by then it's often too late to really go out walking. I'm already waking up at ass o'clock in the morning and that doesn't really allow me much time to go walking, usually it's just enough time to do stretches, shower and wolf down breakfast before I'm out the door to work.
How do you guys make time for your cardio? I'm just not seeing many openings in my own life for it other than on the weekends.
I cardio during my lunch hour, but that has an extra 20 minutes of overhead between changing clothes and showering, and my job is very flexible when it comes to my schedule.
Maybe cut out your stretches? Not a good idea to stretch cold anyways. That's something you do *after* your workout. As a bonus you're already making time to shower after you stretch. Maybe you can make a more portable or less time-consuming breakfast to cut time too, eat it on the way to work.
