Articles on the subject here at salon.com and here at the New York Times, and since I am not well up on which publications are reputed to be stinking with liberal bias, here's one from Fox News for good measure. If that's tl;dr for you, here's the youtube version:

Yeah, this would be what I expect from an administration that signed the NDAA into law. Additionally, "We can't wait" has become Obama's new slogan.

In response, I will use his old slogan:

      Yes we can.

We can and should at least wait to have evidence that someone is an imminent threat before taking them out. What I find really disturbing is that this means they could take anyone out on some trumped up charges. They've said they don't need evidence. This was naturally going to be the sort of spin-doctoring after the NDAA got signed.

I really don't think Demcrats or Republicans represent their voter base anymore, its almost like they play for a totally different team or, at least, life in a reality that the rest of us don't.

Between this, the recent trespass bill, and our insatiable war machine now hungrily eying Iran, I feel like I'm watching the prequel to 1984. Seriously.

Makes you finally believe Orwell had access to the globalists master plan doesn't it?

Don't, it isn't just your country, it's everywhere. People in places like Mexico have seen this for more than half a century so we are used to what it looks like. It's just that it is now time for the US to follow suit.

All the economic and political problems are completely engineered by the banksters and the globalists. From the invasion of Iraq to try to give the Petrodollar some more time to live to the TV soap opera that is the political party system in the US (and pretty much every other country in the world) which was created to give people the illusion of choice when there was none.

Anyone got a 10 million dollar space ship, and know how to set up a colony on the moon with the money? XD

They just don't know where or when to start.

Most people seem to think there will be some sort of declaration of war and that the fighting will begin then. There was none.

And I say was because instead fights are as small as single whistle blowers being prosecuted by the military and censorship bills passed as Copyright protection laws. And of course, little laws being passed that little by little strip away people's rights. People are indeed starting to organize, but they take any opportunity to go back to their old and less depressing lives. Also called wishful denial.

                      "Oh! We stopped SOPA/PIPA! Yay!"
"What? Another 100 bills like that are already in the system awaiting approval? Eh... I have to watch dancing tonight. Also have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning so... *runs away and hides in his house*"

PS > And starting this month people can be picked up and detained indefinitely or killed without any questions asked. You are already at war, as is Europe and the Arab nations. Latin America is the dessert.

He seems to get a bit flakey once he stops talking pure economics. I have trouble taking anyone seriously who equates Communism with facism. The two are very different and one of them arguably doesn't exist in this world. He's very good at hiding it, but his tinfoil hat is visible despite the numerous good points he makes and I wish it didn't.

That's ok, he does make some assumptions that are shaky at best. But most of the things he says fit in too well to be ignored.

It's not a matter of believing everything you see, but to take the bits and pieces that do make sense. The more of it you watch and read about the better your general idea of the situation is. Each of these videos and articles are just stepping stones.

The only thing that could possibly be done in the short term is kill every rich and powerful person and corporation on the planet. To do that you'd have to become just as corrupt as them just to have enough money and military power in the first place, and then you'd have to become Dictator of the World to maintain order. Congrats, you just replaced one reign of oppression with another. Even if you became a benevolent dictator, eventually you'll die and some asshole will replace you and undo everything.

The heart of the matter is that there's a lot of very stupid, greedy and selfish people and we don't have a cure for their stupidity. All anyone can do is find something that makes you happy, try to leave the world a little bit better than you found it, and hope enough people learn from your example before we kill each other off. Or at least hope more people become aquainted with the Prisoner's dilemma.

Ya, its interesting you know even Hitler truly believed he was doing God's will.

As far as David Icke is concerned, I think his videos/talks are worth a watch but I don't like it when he starts talking about reptilians etc. Even though I'm a big Star Trek fan etc. I just feel that those aspects to his views make people ignore all of his ideas/comments/concerns.

I'm new to these forums so I am weary of posting any contraversial videos etc. but I highly recommend the following video as I think it explains alot.

Many people have seen or heard of the Zeitgeist movement and videos etc. but I think this "orientation guide" accurately sums alot of things up.

Why or how we got here, conspiracy or not etc. I don't really know the truth but the reality is most of the activity going on on this planet is wasteful, oppressive and just plain stupid when it doesn't need to be that way.
