Someone should explain to Congress that an ounce of diplomacy is worth a pound of billions of dollars wasted and thousands of lives lost. Or that discretion is the better part of valor. But apparently we're too concerned with what our best buddy Israel thinks of us to do the right thing.

Also, why are we so damn concerned about Iran possibly acquiring nuclear capability, when Pakistan, who harbored Osama bin Laden and where we know active Taliban exists, has a hundred active warheads? And yet we're sending them millions of dollars and military equipment.

Probably because they're not threatening to wipe Isreal off the map. Isreal is a powerful ally and they're not picking fights unfairly, they're trying to be preventative (an ounce of which is worth a pound of cure). Their plan isn't that bad either, from what I've read they would prefer one sweeping strike against their electrical infrastructure and nuclear facilities to set them back a couple hundred paces. That in conjunction with embiggened limitations by the UN should be enough to send them to their knees. Isreal's missile defense shield would keep any missile retaliation at bay, and if they attempt to cut off the waterways both the Americans and Brits would stop them dead in their tracks. The biggest hurdle for Isreal is the distance.

Honestly, I just don't see the benefit of not doing anything about Iran. I'm all for avoiding a needless war, but America ignoring Iran is like a teach ignoring the classroom bully. It might not make the world a better place, but since Radical Islam just makes up reasons to hate people anyone, this is just another drop in the bucket.

Even if Iran was nuclear capable, they wouldn't be able to do much to Isreal, but I think that wouldn't stop them from using for EMP attacks on the region or western nations. Keep in mind Jihadists are just as interested in destroying infrastructure as killing people. Either works and EMP attacks are not something the west has made big strides in preventing against.

I'm tired of the shit Muslims do over in the middle east.

Oh noes, someone posted a video on the internet that you don't like. Here in the West the response that gets is just "Cool story bro". In the Muslim world they riot across several nations and kill people. I've no respect for a culture that behaves that way, and it just further convinces me that the only way to truly establish peace in that region of the world is through genocide.

It'd be nice if they all stopped living in the dark ages and joined us here in the 21st century, but I just don't see that happening.
