Work-Accessible Forums

Hi guys, just trying to expand my lurking options, any tips on some other good forums that are not blocked at work for you? I'd specifically like to find something with an active Final Fantasy (not just XI but all of them) community. I already lurk these and the Amazon videogame forums, but haven't had any luck finding anything else....

I know of a tiny forum that's probably flown under everyone's radar, but it's not exactly active these days so it's probably not what you're looking for.

From what Never has told us, this is pretty much the only final fantasy forum out there that isn't blocked by websense and its ilk.

I can occasionally get to the official forums, if I don't go to the forum top. For instance, if I get a link directly to the English > Red Mage forums, I can sometimes get by websense.

It's not a Final Fantasy forum... but if you like other geeky things like D&D, you might enjoy the forums over at Giant In the Playground

Also... Penny Arcade has a very active forum community.

Neither one is blocked by websense.

It really just depends upon what your IT dept has set to be blocked. Penny Arcade is blocked where I work. It's fucked up but anything entertainment-wise (even local movie times) is blocked at my work... but sports related websites (including fantasy-sport sites) are completely fine. I had a friend in IT allow access to Joystiq and N4G (N4G is a shitty site) ... but it really depends on a company's IT personel as far as I can tell.
