        Actually... I didn't drink, smoke, eat, or anything during that time of walking.... I just walked, to no reason lol.... Stabbed my foot on something though and fucked it up for the day lol

            Keeping notes pays off.

            Some folks in the office got new blackberries today and were all "what do I enter here?"

            I don't know the first thing about setting up a blackberry, but it wanted a 'messaging server', which it then later calls the email server. I haven't had to deal with that beast in months because our mail server is all handled by a third party now. Digging through my notebooks I found the URL for the email server and told the guy in the office to try using that. It worked, and there was much celebration because dammit I don't like having to troubleshoot problems that I have absolutely no understanding of and that really aren't my problem. You guys got the blackberries and didn't tell me anything about them or what you would need to get them up and running. You didn't tell me they were coming or that you might need me to assist, so I'm damn happy this was an easy fix and not you guys dropping your problems onto my lap and disrupting my projects for the rest of the day.

              Today is my 8th Anniversary working at my job.

              It's not a job I want. It's just a paycheck. It's basically still an entry level position in radiology with absolutely no path to anything meaningful or fulfilling. It's a dead end. I'm not really very enthusiastic about this milestone...

                        Oh man…I just recently hit my 6 year. And it is exactly the same thing.
                        Just a paycheck…dead end….not a job I want...zero growth in my position...
