Re: Little things that make you smile - the anti-peeve thread.
Went over to my boyfriend's house today. We'd gone to a hockey game together last night followed by IHOP (great date night), and before he dropped me off, he invited me over to his house for dinner.
So we hung out, he'd barbecued some ribs (they were delicious) then we lay down on his bed and watched some movies, the last of which was Paranormal Activity. Snuggled and cuddled up on his bed together for several hours which was just fucking great in itself.
Then I'm getting my shoes back on and we're just talking about things, I mentioned that I'd hit the treadmill earlier and I was a little sore, and he gave me some pointers for working out that would be more beneficial. I have been trying to lose some weight and he knows that, so he told me, "Now, I like you exactly the way you are, but if your goal is to lose weight, you need to do ..."
Yes, he really said that to me, and I will probably be grinning like an idiot for the next several days over that. I can't remember the last time a guy said something like that to me. Hell, even my ex-husband was an asshole about me "getting fat" (and this was back when I was barely fat, right after giving birth). Oh my god. I'm 100% dead of feels right now.
