It's hard to be impressed when he's making really newbie mistakes. Harder still because the game's still really fucking broken. Any strategies we have now will most likely be invalidated if they ever get their shit together.

This as well. I'm not posting it because I'm impressed with his play, I'm posting it because I'm impressed at how badly EA fucked this one up. As in, his strategy doesn't just go around some bugs, it's essentially entirely based on bugs.

This is about on par with FFXIV in terms of "releasing a game that should still be in beta".

Mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, really liked previous Sim City games and was looking forward to a new one. On the other, continuing to thumb my nose Origin and refuse to patronize EA remains a cost-free proposition.

I don't understand all the hate for Origin. I own several games on that platform and have had no negative experiences.

WayForward is adored by the Nintendo hardcore and they enjoy a number of exclusives from them, so its kind of understandable they'd focus on that to the exclusion of other platforms. All of WayForward's digital console offerings tend to be multiplatform, so nothing to worry about there. The only exception I know of is that Mighty Switch Force HD remains exclusive to Wii U.

Except for the last panel, where the answer to "Now" is almost always the Fire type that eventually evolves into a Fire/Fighting type.

I had a "pet" wolf spider on the windowsill at the head of my bed for a few months when I was in college. I hate flies with a fervor, but he was a cool little dude.

God, that Game Gear battery life is completely accurate, or maybe even a little too generous. That thing sucked down so many batteries that we gave up and just used adapters. Plugged it into the wall at home and into the car on the go, because it was just too expensive to keep feeding it batteries.

Panel 2 distills the essence of why I hate DLC.
