Truffles are pretty simple to make and there are so many things you can do with them to mix things up.
My mum loves marzipan so when I make her some I like to take small balls of it and then from the truffle around it.
Fudge is a cool treat to make with a load of variations, I like irish cream/ baileys flavoured fudge.
Cake pops are a good thing to try too I make these for childrens birthday parties and similar gatherings.
If baking is a little intimidating have a google for "fridge cakes" or take little biscuits and stack them with various layers of chocolate spreads, jams + jelly's <- not sure what you call them over there.

for ultimate indulgence take a look at "dulce de leche" quite recently it's becoming popular as a filling between cake layers.
It's one of those things once I've made it I can eat it out the pot with a spoon it's THAT delicious.
You can buy it also in stores.
For a simple cake check out "Nigella Lawson's Chocolate cloud cake" it's flourless and mainly eggs, chocolate sugar and cream but it's very brownie like and a popular request from my family.
If you need advice I'll be glad to help. I'm only a novice baker but I'm gradually getting better.

It doesn't actually bother me a lot of the time since there are people in my gaming group that do it when they aren't sure what the English for a word is and will use say the Swedish, German, Italian or Spanish for the word and usually someone will know what that word is and they can tell them for next time. I know iIve done it myself when practising German with a couple of people I game with.

That said it is fucking annoying when weaboos do it.

One of my coworkers, who was off tonight, locked himself out of his apartment. Well, he lives on one of the properties we patrol, so he called us to call maintenance for him.

          Big mistake.

For the next hour, we busted his balls hard about it. He posts "FML" on Facebook, so I comment, "Fix My Lock?"

Then everyone in the Ops center pools their keys together on the desk, I take a picture of them, and tag our other coworker on the pic. He is not amused.

Finally, I post "The NHL Lockout is over, but the C_____ A____ lockout is still going strong."

I love days at work when I can give someone endless shit over something stupid.

Something similar happened at work when someone locked himself out of the building due to leaving his keycard at his desk. Basically you can get out of any of the outer doors without a keycard anyway as long as the burglar alarm isn't going off (so you don't get trapped inside overnight, burglars trying to steal our equipment inevitably get trapped inside because they don't have a keycard, and the interns and cleaning staff can get out without needing a card) and all of the locks throughout the building automatically disengage in the event of the fire alarm going off or the power going out. And of course everything can be unlocked by using a regular key if the electronic lock fails to disengage. Basically the entire system is idiot proof so you can vacate the building quickly if you need to...As long as you remember your keycard to get back inside.

Anyway, on Thursdays we run on an appointments only thing so the doors are always locked and you need a keycard to get inside, or go to the front door and get buzzed inside. You can probably imagine what happened when he forgot his card, got lunch, then had to buzz himself back in and do a walk of shame back to his office.

Please note that he left his keycard inside of his office, so yes, he locked himself out of his office and had to get someone to swipe him in...

Watched two of my favourite Star Wars The Clone Wars episodes on a DVD I was watching last night but was too tired to finish watching the last two episodes (the "Padawan Lost" arc from Season Three).

Firewind decides to see what is on Cartoon Network in case of Ponies being on.

Same two episodes are being shown back to back.

Chinese idiom for "You can't hide it forever": "Even an ugly daughter-in-law has to meet her parents-in-law sooner or later."

I don't care what anybody says, I love sending and receiving dirty texts, especially in a totally inappropriate place such as work.

I'm insulted that you would think that I'd use text speak.

You COULD technically be all fancy and use old Shakespearean English.

"I beseech thee! Bestow unto me such a time when I may put my d in your a!"

.... I really can't speak or write Shakespearean English, but I've attempted it before!

Soz, that's just how imagine dirty texting. Cyber sex is always "I put on my robe and wizard hat" and bad sex talk is "do it with your clothes on, I like it like that". Weird childhood tbh

I could describe with probably good visual accuracy a very hot steamy sex scene for you. Just give me the word and I'll send you a story I wrote 2 years ago.
