Today, playing with my fiancee and some young kids, pick up a girl who is around 6 or so.

Fiancée: "Wow! You're as tall as I am!"
Kid: "And as fat!"



Also, her brother (not much older) was playing with his smart phone, and I was musing about how all I had at his age was a Game Gear. Then I realized one of the games he was playing was Sonic Racing something or other, and felt like I still had the better childhood. Weird as hell to see pre-tweens debating the pros and cons of the Galaxy III versus the iPhone 4S though.

That feeling you get when you realise that you forgot to pay a bill before the banks close, but realise that it is a Friday so the money won't be taken from your account until Monday anyway; so you can just blame it on the payment going out at the end of the working week and banks being lazy.

A friend of a friend met a kid who was bewildered by the fact that console controllers used to be wired.

Most british banks are open on a saturday until around 2-ish.
That reminds me I got a cheque to put in, I paid my council tax bill off early and ended up paying them more than I should of so they sent my money back.
I get to not worry about it until April lol that's £40 a month more beer money lol.

My biggest peeve about people using any language, is speaking the majority of the sentence in English, then sprinkling a couple of words from another language in there for no reason.

"Oh my god! That kitten is so kawaii!"

That being said, the video made me laugh quite a bit. Though I don't have a sharp chin like she's talking about. D:

And to make this fit the anti-peeve topic, since I randomly started with a peeve: I'm learning how to make some chocolate desserts for valentines day! Though I'm at a complete loss of what to do other than hazelnut chocolate and truffles currently. Anyone have any ideas of what else I could make or attempt?
