congrats on the baby. Sorry it was so delayed.
Labor is horrible it's well known I'm not fond of the vajayjay but seing ababy come into the world is a really great thing.
Being a general nurse "the Rdm of nursing" I dont encounter childbirth because it comes under midwifery,
I did however deliver a baby when I was trapped in a lift/elevator I think I cried more than the mother, I think I posted about it here once too.
Its odd because I went onto nurse autopilot and went smoothly, 9ish months ago my mother went into labor and I turned into a hysterical panicking mess, I still have no idea why lol, My little sister Tilly was delivered safely though at the hospital while I took care of my siblings and sobbed like a kid with a skinned knee.

With the confirmed new game of Pokemon series out now, I guess I can safely put this here and have a good laugh. They have gone from colors now and gone for the alphabet. Pokemon X/Y. Oh boy why do I feel math is going to play a big part in this game?

I was disappointed when Black/White missed the boat for full 3D. X/Y, as retarded as the names are, is looking pretty good though.

I was disappointed when Black/White missed the boat for full 3D. X/Y, as retarded as the names are, is looking pretty good though.

Nintendo had me off their product wagon after the release of White/Black when they couldn't come up with proper pokemon designs. There is literally 2 things that drove me from White/Black.

A) Mushroom that looks like a literal Pokeball.
NOW granted, going back to Red and Blue Voltorb and Electrode were the closest thing to them. But now GameFreak just isn't even trying.



B) A Pokemon that looks like the following picture down below. I won't give names since I feel that It won't do myself any good.


Now I am wondering if the shapes of the Pokemon were to draw in a younger more naive audience to the franchise. But what does that say to the older generation of Pokefans who have stuck around since the release of Red/Blue?

Honestly, Gen V quite blatantly has several more parallels to Gen I than pretty much any other generation (Gen II aside, since that was a direct continuation). They honestly just changed the types here or there.

Blitzle = Ponyta
Woobat = Zubat
Roggenrola = Geodude
Drilbur = Sandshrew
Audino = Chansey
Timburr = Machop
Tympole = Poliwag
Throh + Sawk = Hitmonchan + Hitmonlee
Sewaddle + Venipede = Caterpie + Weedle
Maractus = Tangela (arguably)
Trubbish = Grimer
Tirtouga + Archen = Omanyte + Kabuto
Minccino = Clefairy
Ducklett = Psyduck
Emolga . . . do I even have to say it?
Foongus is of course Voltorb.
Litwick is a Ghastly that's Fire-type instead of Poison.
Bouffalant = Tauros

It's like, they see people complaining about Pokemon designs not being like to original 151/251, and literally made another generation with the first one as a blueprint. It's like your image said, if Gen V came first and Gen I came fifth, fans would be having the exact same complaints.
