There's a template out there for a full working nyancat invclduing theme with note blocks.

Also Minecraft Pixelart is tough to do without dual boxing so don't worry if your first few tries come out horrible. I remember when I tried to make a giant Link. It came our horrible but it was fun, especially when I went into "little kid kicking down their sandcastle/block castle to start again" mode and blew it up with TNT

Here's my Pikachu, Sonic is in the distance and you can see I began on Fluttershy. Mario is off to the left and Nyan Cat is behind it. I'm putting FS on a break. I'll see if my friend Fugal can fix her, the scaling is off but I think she's still fixable. I don't feel like erasing it....I'm working on the Mario Red Mushroom at the moment. I want to do Luigi next to him but I'm unsure of how it would look. The mario I made is 8-Bit and the Luigi I got is like one from Super Star Saga. Click image for larger version

Also by Dualboxing do you mean PC to 360 chart conversion/scaling models? If there are programs out there that make templates I could surely whip up a lot more pixel art to display. I also do request if your interested.

No what I mean by dualboxing is that you use one screen as your thumbnail while you use the other screen to build. I'm not sure how much new Minecraft accounts cost now but back in Alpha it only cost about €3 (it was back when paying in Euros was much cheaper than in GBP), which is about £3 today or about $5.

Also that Pikachu is awesome and adorable...Awedorable? Adawesome? I need to stop watching How I Met Your Mother...

Gah! I find programs that do only ONE of two things I want.

Spritecraft - Makes a Sprite of the Image
What I need It To Do: Grid It

Minecraft Structure Planner - Makes the Grid of the Image
What I need It To Do: Sprite it

I need a program that does both! >_< Curse you! You think for as long as MC has been out they'd fix this issue for Pixel Artist. I'll upload my Mario Mushroom here in a bit. I just finished making it. I'm now working on Link.

I can't run MC on my PC (Processor will be eaten alive). If I could I would unless there is a way to migate that issue.

Also here is my Mario Mushroom. I put it next to Mario...Lol. Link is behind my character (Fidget from Dust character skin)

I'll link to some pony pixelart pictures in Minecraft. Some are really elaborate and use custom HD texture packs but hopefully they should give some inspiration and some idea of the sort of scale involved:

I really want to get to that skill level of Pixel Art. I'm now downloading GIMP to see if the rumors will work. I tried using anicro desapro the Animal Crossing thingy but I can't figure out how to open the pictures in it. If I can get that thing to work I'll be golden.

Actually practising pixel art in general is something that could well work since the skills can be extrapolated to constructing things like that in minecraft. I personally prefer base building and building towns in Minecraft but I do like pixel art even if my attempts at it always come out horrible XD

Here's what I am trying to scale, I can get up to her face, but after that it scales completely off. I'm not sure if it's the gridding on the picture or what.

The best part of that video is how obvious it is that he's doing it in his mother's living room.

If nothing else, check out 1:50. That's not how you cross a fucking river!

EDIT: and oh man, I didn't even get to the ending. That's the best part. Come for the LIBERATE ALL CHINA mantra that sounds like a bad premise from a 1980s video game, stay for the guy shooting at nothing in particular until the KMT flag falls down.

/but then I wouldn't mind seeing the KMT fall either
