I want to get one of those eventually, but right now I still love my old school sidewinder with only 4 buttons and the wheel (+2 side clicks.) But if I ever was to praise a piece of HID hardware as the awesomest ever that would be the Belkin N52 (not N52te.) It's just and awesome thing to have for me, and I recently managed to get a hold of a new one. Because the Razer Nostromo was disappointment incarnated.

Whatever psychoactive substance in the sauce for these lettuce wraps is causing me to greedily shovel lettuce into my face, I approve of it.

My youngest son sent me this message on Facebook:

My oldest sent me this message on Facebook:

HOLA CUANDO VAS A VENIR Y POR FAVOR ME PUEDES COMPRAR UN JUGUETE DE LOS CABALLEROS DEL ZODIACO POR FAVOR
Which means, "When are you coming and can you buy me this toy please?"

Both mean that my kids are just as excited about me coming to Mexico as I am to go. /dance

Your kid gets massive points for wanting a Saint Seiya toy.

Get him one of these if you can.

Ha, I was introduced to Saint Seiya when I was in Dominican Republic. Must be famous in Spanish or something.

Yeah I'm gonna have to shop online for them I think. I had no idea what the heck he was talking about until I got home from work and googled it, then I recognized it instantly. My ex-husband must have gotten him hooked, because he loves Saint Seiya, too.

There are 2 animes that EVERYONE knows about even if they don't really watch anime or cartoons or TV in general.

Saint Seiya, better known as Caballeros del Zodiaco (Zodiac Knights) and Captain Tsubasa, known over here as Super Campeones (Super Champions.) And in more recent times Dragon Ball Z, but that's more global thanks to the internetz.

PS > Oh, and Mazinger Z. Never forget Mazinger Z.

So, as intimated in other threads, I've met someone new recently. And so far things are pretty amazing. I don't honestly know what's going on with he and I, and that's perfectly ok. Right now I just really enjoy spending time with him. Our dates have been fairly low key. Dinner and drinks. Dinner and an art show. Moonrise Kingdom (great movie, btw) and pizza. We spend HOURS talking though. About whatever. And it's so easy. Like, I don't apologize for myself all the time, which is something I usually do. He makes me feel super comfortable.

Anyway. It's just pretty awesome, and has done an awful lot to improve my mood over the past couple of weeks. We'll see what happens.

Sounds like a perfect start and a good attitude for moving forward. Hope it works out for you.

The great thing is, even if it didn't turn into anything more serious, I am ok with that. I like him, and am open to more, but if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen. I'm just glad to know him now.

That's awesome Murphie. Glad to hear it.

As for what brought me back to the thread:

Getting my stalk on over facebook and seeing that the girl that fell from the 9th floor that I tried to help is posting from her hospital bed. It did more than made me smile, I feel a great deal better knowing she's making a recovery of sorts, I was convinced she'd die or be in a vegetative state.

I'm not sure if I should message her, I have no idea what I would say or why I'd be saying it.

The downside I've been prescribed Fluoxetine / prozac for anxiety. I've had trouble sleeping since the incident and have a constant restless feeling. Fingers crossed it's short term.

I'm still convinced that Murph is dating Etra and just hasn't told us yet.

Think about it... there was that "oh hey we should hang out while I'm in town" thing a while back and then silence.

It's happening... and the battle for who gets to be the Alpha will be epic. I imagine it will look a little something like this:
