                            I was up in the late/early hours and had syfy on in the background where they were showing all of the tremors films.
                            Very dire films but one thing made me laugh, the worms are called graboids, Is glavoid a SE slightly racist joke? Considering how many asians I've worked with confue their l/r's and v/b's. I hope so.

                            Also fishing got to me too much, It's true it sends you mad. I realised a while ago Selbina is an anagram of lesbian and a big fishy town. SE you have issues !!!

                                Satori: far more likely it's either coincidental, or it was lost in translation. Some Japanese dev watches the movie, decides to adopt the name; he only ever sees it written in Katakana subtitles; the translator is never informed that this name is a reference to something, he takes his best shot at it. Or Japanese dev watches the movie, writes the name down as best as he can remember, this is never double checked. Or Japanese dev watches the movie, gets the name right, but then they change it for copyright reasons. To a Japanese speaker, the change is phonetically irrelevant anyway.

                                Chances that some translator saw Guraboido and realized "OH HEY, THIS IS FROM THAT MOVIE. Perfect opportunity to make fun of gooks though!" is pretty low.
