I claim Tyrion Lannister for house Tarutaru.

To the topic: Mucinex. This stuff just does what it says it's going to do, does a good job at it, and doesn't even have any real side effects I can see other than being the most horrible thing you could taste in your mouth. Usually I expect any OTC medication to either have a meh near-placebo effect or work like a boss but also knock me on my ass in its own way (benadryl). A medicine that just fucking works the end makes me so happy.

Speaking of OTC's, which is that OTC that takes away the redness from drinking for that "Asian Gene" ? I'm a terrible drinker and can't go 2 glasses without turning red.

I want to smile too, so can someone tell me what OTCs and the "Asian Gene" are? <_<

OTC = over the counter. Medicine you can buy without a prescription.

I dunno what Ketaru is talking about.

Ketaru is referring to a phenomenon common among asians where drinking alcohol makes them turn red, like in anime. Asians also generally have less alcohol tolerance than Europeans. Wikipedia: Alcohol Tolerance

                Ah.

                That... didn't make me smile.

You know what makes me smile though? Star Trek.

It seems I'm on a trekkie mood these days. Just watched hours of ST clips (mainly TNG and DS9) plus a few Q episodes someone uploaded on YouTube.

Just waiting on the Blu-ray versions of both series because it has been decided for years now that I'll buy them the moment they are released unless I really have no money whatsoever at the time.

                  Hydrogen peroxide...

                  That stuff is wonderful.

It's great for a mouth wash. It has very little taste to it, and a quick rinse will freshmen your breath, as well as whiteness your teeth with continued use. When used after brushing and flosing, there is no bad breath. And the best part is... It doesn't burn haha.

I also found out its good for acne as well. Since acne is bacteria stuck under the skin, it kills it, and it goes back to being clear skin.

It's also great to lighten your hair. Since its a very mild bleach, you can spray it with a 50/50 mixture and comb through your hair lightening it over a few days.

Yeah. It doesn't make me smile either. At least, not when I haven't had something to drink. If I had, then yeah, smile away.

Taskmage, having been given something that does the same thing, only instead of an OTC drug it was Chinese Medicine, I can unabashedly assure you the taste gets worse. Much worse.

                      Chinese Medicine is fucking insane.

Also, the solution for being a light drinker is drinking more.

So, I may hate the part of town I live in, but I don't at all hate that gas is 40 cents cheaper than in town.

Then why aren't you smiling? Hiding something?

Ray lives in Mexico that's why he is unaware of over the counter drugs. In Mexico, all drugs are OTC.

That's called an allergy, I have it and I'm not Asian. Try Allegra, Claritin, or perhaps Zyrtec. Allegra always works for me.
