Same here... I had always had a PoS futon. Then I got back problems. Then I invested in a temperpedic. I just got microfiber sheets. I never want to get out of bed now.

There are few things as awesome as waking up and knowing you don't have to get out of bed if you don't want to.

Things that make me smile: a warm fire on an overcast/rainy day. It's how I spent my New Year's weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. Loafing around a fire all afternoon with friends. There is nothing quite like it and I miss it.

My mum telling me that my little sister who is 16 on saturday declined a nice expensive birthday cake because she would rather I make her a chocolate cloud cake because she likes the taste of my cakes better.

I'm going to also bake her a giant cupcake with the centre filled with dulch'e leche "a caramel thingy" so my giant cupcake mould is about to lose it's virginity.

Applying for over 50 jobs in the last 2 months and getting a response from one of them the other day did make me smile even if there's hundreds of other people after the same vacancy.
