And to add to the thread, actually getting to watch a Penguins game on TV (not some shitty stream) and during the afternoon when I'm not at work. And them WINNING! I'm not as hardcore of a fan as I used to be, but damn, feels good to see them in action again.

I bought my mum that book when the last time she was pregnant.
This time I got her "The boy who fell to earth"

I've been practicing like crazy with my baking for a cake for my mum on mother's day.
My plans are a heart shaped sachertorte with mum written onto it with white chocolate. With a piped icing rose on the top edge and fondant leaves for the rose.
In my head it looks amazing but I'm one of those people that for some reason no matter how much time/care i take the end result is never anywhere near what I imagined.
But if mum smiles, I smile XD

Oddly I'd never say it as it is "mum" only when writing .
Most of the time I say "mom"
I feel mum looks softer and more of a loving term, where if I was to write mom it looks like I can't be bothered to write mother instead of really it's a small cake lol

I haven't had to pop any pain killers today (yet). My back is starting to get better. Yay!

Regardless, I should probably still go to that session of physical therapy I have scheduled for Wednesday.

That was actually really easy, and simple to understand, and it makes a lot more sense as to why there is a leap year, rather than "Just because", and the whole history behind it.

Edit: The penny one was actually really interesting too. I never thought that other countries had abolished the 1 cent. I always knew it costed more to make a penny anyways.
