Tom believes saying your birthday wish out loud prevents it from coming true. Tim said his wish was for Tom's wish to come true. By saying it out loud, he's sabotaging his wish, which means Tom's wish won't come true. It's sheer genius because he doesn't even need to know what Tom's wish is to ruin his day.

For some unknown reason I felt like watching the cutscenes from Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan after probably years.
Three things hit me. First, the PS3 looks so low res even at 1080p (spoiled PC gamer is spoiled.) Second, my understanding of Japanese has indeed improved significantly even if I feel like I'm not progressing at all. And third, good gods that game is freaking AWESOME, just watching the first few cutscenes were enough to get me all excited about playing the game again. XD
Which I will probably do after I'm done with Sleeping Dogs.

Yeah but the dragon in the comic is Alduin who is kind of a huge dick anyway. He's basically Bahamut from FFXI except that Bahamut is nice enough to cancel his plans of killing everyone in the world when presented with some other options. Alduin just doesn't care.
