Today I saw the most beautiful woman while driving, and she was wearing something that looked like goth cosplay.


Now, it was freaking hot today and I was very tired so there's pretty good chance it was a heat induced hallucination. But either way it was awesome and made me smile. XD

Made some really good chicken fried rice from scratch tonight. It took me several attempts to get right. Turns out the secret is steaming the rice initially in chicken stock. The difference in taste is subtle in the steamed rice, but then when you fry it all the flavors of the stock are brought out. With the rice down you can hardly miss with the rest of the ingredients. Next week I'll try again with shrimp.
