When reader Simon got married recently, he wanted there to be a little surprise for his new bride. So he and a few friends sat down, took a knife to the Scott Pilgrim game and ended up with this little clip which played after the ceremony.

It makes me smile when smug, self-important jackasses throw Bible passages around to justify why it's ok that they're a bigot... and then get the humble smack-down laid on them by a hilariously sarcastic professor.

Foamy may be funnier to us rational people but Bible-thumpers will just hide behind their verses to "refute it." Attacking them with their own holy book is the most effective way to give them horrible cognitive dissonance.

It's even simpler than that. The easiest way to unite control people is to get them into an "Us vs Them" mentality. There rarely needs to be any form of rationale and there's more than enough examples in history that show it doesn't even need to be about religion.

Actually, the postulate of Christianity is that God did send us a memo, the entire point of which being to tell us "Religion: you're doing it wrong."

So, anyone who calls themselves a Christian while thumping the Book of Leviticus needs to, well, do some reading.

leasious dragging me back to WoW then repeatedly getting me killed over and over in dungeons runs...As a Balance Druid.

For anyone who doesn't know a Balance Druid is basically like a BLM. Somehow she manages to randomly dump a load of mobs on top of me.

Yes it's as hilarious as it sounds too.
