The sex stuff is best. Apparently she never realized half of her favorite songs were about sex. She is also consistently amazed by how many words English has for various body parts, and the amount of sex acts we have well known terms for.

Hm. Optimum Online apparently doubled their speeds, free of charge.



Not bad considering this is during peak time, and it use to be in the 50's down /8 up. Though they did increase the price of the packages last year; I suppose this is the pay off.

I hate my ISP so much.

This is far better than actual performance as well; on torrents, I'm lucky to get 100kbps down and 5kbps up, webpages frequently take multiple tries to open, or pause in the middle of opening, youtube videos pause indefinitely until they're deemed suitable to continue, etc.

So last week I resurrected my boss's laptop. It was fairly simple, it just took a while to complete and most of that was backing up the data before actually attempting to fix it.

Today he gets into the office and hands me a card saying "this is for fixing my computer". Inside is a sizable gift certificate to our local beer shop.
