That says an awful lot about the Vita.

Well, it does have pretty screen. Lots of indie games are coming, too. I got one because it got to the five games I needed to justify it, I'm content to play through my backlog of PSP and PSOne games till they all hit. Releases still happen on those fronts anyway.

I don't particularly subscribe to this idea of only buying hardware to play new things. If at all possible a new platform should be able to play old games - espcially handhelds.

Also this:

April Fools, decided to have a little fun. On my manager shifts I have to do an audit every night to ensure that the Officers are checking on their Area Alerts, basically things that they need to know about their property like BOLOs or whatnot and they're pretty important so we have the task of checking up on them.

So this was my e-mail tonight.


Usually the e-mail says something like "As of such and such time, all Officers are Code 4 (acceptable/within regulations/good/etc.) on their alerts." Or we'll list the ones who aren't, etc. So this was just me having a little bit of fun.

I tried (unsuccessfully) to embed a photo of Obi Wan into the e-mail but it wouldn't work because our e-mail interface is about as old as Atari, so I settled for attaching the file. But it would have been awesome if I could have had Obi Wan and then the text. I'll take what I can get though.

Ahh, I love nights when I can let my inner nerd out.

I was thinking more along the lines of feeding the obi-wan image into a converter that spits out an ASCII version of the image. There's some converters out there that are surprisingly good.

I could have, but I came up with the idea while at work and the last thing I need to do is be trolling Google looking for something and get some shitty virus because IT CBFed to upgrade us to Firefox like I asked months ago. Not that I'm retarded, but I have this kind of shitty luck.

If I'd thought of it at home, I could have done something like that. But I thought of it spur of the moment.

I was really surprised that HTML didn't work for the images, since using <b></b> and such works. I would have figured basic HTML would do it but nope.

I've spent about maybe 2 months now playing every single Zelda game up to date (still not done with Phantom Hourglass) but I did find this amusing.

My Gaming Group does Dragon Age Origins characters for our DoTA2 theme team and we always get some fun comments about that. Team themes are common and don't usually make people bat an eyelid. That said, I had to double take when I first saw this team:
