This from the Flight Attendant on our return flight from Aruba:

-This is Flight # 1805 with service to Baltimore-Washington International Airport, if that isn't part of your itinerary, it soon will be.
-There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there is only six ways off of this plane. They are here, here, and there (pointing to the exits).
-In the event that your flight becomes a cruise, your seat doubles as a flotation device.
-To enhance the appearance of your flight crew, we will be dimming the lights for the remainder of your flight.
-While explaining the seat belt, he ended with "if you can't figure this out, you probably shouldn't be out alone."

After hearing countless dull and boring flight attendants just giving the spiel and going through the motions, usually with my face buried in a book or my earphones already on, I actually paid attention to what this guy said. Seems like a good way to get people to pay attention

It's always nice to get someone who doesn't take their job overly seriously. It's like that one time my friends and I got on the metro in the morning and the announcer guy spent the whole time making fun of how rail lines don't leave on time but the metro does.
