In search of a new book series to read, I took my father's advice and bought the first book in the Dresden Files. For those of you unfamiliar, the books are about a wizard who openly practices his magic by selling his services as a sort of private investigator to the Chicago PD. They tried to make a TV series out of it that failed after half a season... likely because they butchered the book and tried to "glam it up" too much.

I just fired off a text to my father that simply read "Fighting demon-toad while naked in the rain".

This series is fantastic.

Oh mine goes by Nicholas, Evan is the first name though. It wasn't Spanish enough for my ex. Lol.

Patients that try hooking me up with their grandsons.
I've had a lady telling me for weeks about her grandson and that I should meet him, I met him and as well as hot he was a pretty nice guy, After visiting was done I was doing my rounds and she gave me his number and said she thought we'd be cute together.
After work I went out for a drink and I bumped into him and it turns out we are friends with quite a few of the same people.

I go into work today and she tells me he visited and he had told her about seeing me out of work.
She then told me she goes there too and she also knows some of my friends and she hopes to go to gay pride again this year,
Then as I went to carry on my rounds she said "so.... are you a top or a bottom?....."
That was the last thing I was expecting her to say.

I'm always suprised at how accepting and open minded the elderly generation can be but this was just mental.
I started to laugh at her and as I walked off I said she'd have to ask her grandson. Then she replied she wouldn't have to, she'll just look at who starts to walk funny.
So I said she shouldn't say that, now I'm questioning why she has the walking frame and she said to me that during the war it was one of the few things that wasn't rationed.
Clearly I wasnt going to win so I walked off giggling.

I'm going to miss her when she goes home. But I am glad she's well enough to return home and take care of herself.

Well I am satisfied, just sat through 12 episodes of gore on an anime known as Blood-C. Ending was a complete and utter mind fuck but I loved it. The censorship made me mad so I re-downloaded it and got to watch aaaalll the organ tearing, limb thrasing, spine cleaving gorey goodness the anime had to offer and by god it was amazing.

God this made me so happy. Not for the light of heart by the way.

1:11 was the best and funniest death. Slam. Slam. Slam. Slam. Nom. The death after that reminded me of when I used to purposely destroy barbie dolls.
