    Oooh. You must LOVE Captcha's.

If they have no audio option and there is nobody around to read them for me, I just spam refresh until I get a readable one.

I wonder if there's like an entire USB set for them. Would be a great gift for christmas.

ID:	1476529 This chair is wicked. I bet the guy who made this had fun with the design. What baffles me is the last design in the bottom right hand corner, what perspective is that?

the bottom right one is the view of where the seat meets the back of the chair.

The funeral service to honor Officer Michael Valentin was today.

We had so many Officers come out to support him - we had a line of at least 30 patrol vehicles following the limousines, and even some of our competitors came out to show their support. We had police from several jurisdictions as well, all of whom stood at attention to salute him as he was laid into the hearse the final time, to the sounds of Amazing Grace, bagpipe style.

The service was beautiful. I cried my eyes out, but it was beautiful. There was no better way to honor him than the way we did. I do hope that this is the last time I have to experience it.

It was. I'm surprised it reached people outside this area.

I went to the post-funeral gathering with many of my coworkers at a bar nearby that we frequent. "Good beer, good friends, and good times," I posted on Facebook. I am so proud of how we've banded together to support one another - we've been there to support each other and lend a shoulder to cry on, and while we've all shed tears, we're all healing now. Also, the CEO picked up the tab for all of our drinks, which didn't hurt.

I had a great time. I have been up for 30 hours and I'm not sure how I'm still even going right now. I guess just knowing that I had to be strong for everyone and just pushing through. There was a lot of laughter, a few tears, a lot of drinking, a lot of stories, a lot of joking, and a lot of hugging. I even got a hug from the CEO and the Chief, both of whom I didn't think even knew who I was before all this (and before I was the one holding it down in Ops throughout it all).

Boss Lady is not doing so well. She was running the radio when it happened. She hasn't been to any of the events for the funeral at all, and went to the hospital late last night, didn't make the funeral. I think she is having some anxiety issues. For all the bitching I do about her, I still care about her and I don't want her to suffer. But I know that all she really needs is for me to be strong and keep doing what I do. So I will.

Overall, it was the perfect way to honor Michael. He was a brother to all of us, and he will never be forgotten. I am proud to have worked with him even a short time. Rest in peace.

This is why I love my job

In addition to the fact that we all banded together to change our profile pics to a mourning badge - almost everyone on Facebook did - we can still joke about ridiculous bullshit after losing one of our own.

ID:	1476533 This looks pretty cool, any thoughts about this innovative design? It looks eco-friendly too. I mean I'm pretty sure it's photoshopped (look at the BG) but the idea for it is pretty neat. I hope we see a future design like this, unless stuff like this is already out. I'm guessing in the more eastern asian countries.
