I'm not a racist but I am a homophobe.

I know a few gay people but I wouldnt really call them friends. I cringe when I see the over the top gays that are orange/fake tanned, funked up hair and skintight clothes complete with plunging necks and accessories that makes me question if they are going through gender re-assignment.
I@m not the manliest of gays by any measure, I do a job that originally was intended for women and if that wasnt enough I wear womens clothes and makeup and get paid for it.

I'm sure that makes me a hyporcrite and more than likely a terrible human being.

We have an expansive gay community here on the forum. I can think of 5 off the top of my head who have made it publicly clear... and at least 3 others who are casual posters.

I think for every group that has negative stereotypes applied to them, there's a vast majority of otherwise perfectly normal people and a minority of MFers who seem to go out of their way to prove right every stereotype about them, and subset of the former justifiably hates the latter.

But for you: in the future I won't use any "n-words," even though I specifically used "negro" because it's funny and antiquated and no one uses it anymore. I thought people would get that. Regardless, please if you feel the need to "mod" me can you do it out of public view, it's not necessary. I've seen you do this with others too and they get just as defensive. Just trying to be constructive here.

Okay that came across a lot bitchier than I needed it to. I had my lunch now and I re-read that and I don't mean to be so sour.

For something that makes me smile: the fact that even as tired and overworked as we all are, that we can still joke and laugh with each other at work and not want to cut throats. We joked about picking up some of the local bums and giving them a job, it was hilarious and silly and completely ridiculous (as most bums have records, and no one with a record can work for us, among other things) and yet the way we were joking last night it almost seemed like a viable solution.

I love my job.

You really think I tried to publicly execute you? If I were trying to that, my words would have been a choice bit more colorful than that. I didn't think it required being taken to PMs. Satori didn't flip out when I basically said the same type of thing to him. In fact he met it with a joke and a smile.

Why does everyone think I'm trying to be "The Big Bad Mod" all of a sudden? I just detest the defamation of any group of people for any reason. You're entitled to your opinion as much as the next person... but I would ask if for nothing more than my sake that you refrain from using any derogatory terms... antiquated or not.

And yes, he may be Fail incarnated, but he also has plenty of good points. Like, having two eyes. And he can speak English like a local too. Plus, he also plays games while at work, and... and... he gives gil to new players in XI!
