ACTA: Worse than SOPA and PIPA, its also been around longer
Re: ACTA: Worse than SOPA and PIPA, its also been around longer
Oh man that's just awesome.
That's it, I'm moving to Poland!
Well, unless the Mexican government keeps rejecting ACTA, then I'll just stay here and use the moving money to buy new video cards and lots of games. Since Poland signed but has yet to ratify it. <_<;

Yeah, it's disgusting the lengths these people will do to make a buck. And playing both sides of the fence is barely the beginning. It's like those weapons dealers creating conflicts where there's none (now in Iran flavor) for the sake of profits and weapon sales. Very sad considering all that money could be doing so many good things in projects that actually advanced humanity.
Three nuclear scientists get car bombed in Iran in two years and you don't think there's anything suspicious going on over there? Even that aside, there's the women that get stoned in the street for having the audacity to ask for equal rights. And Iran is the only other place in the world as unpopular as North Korea.
I'd say Iran at least bears watching, regardless of questionable parties trying to start shit with them.

It warrants watching, yes. But the politicians in the US are looking so blood thirsty I'm afraid even if Iran actually agreed to negotiate no one would even want to listen. And I seriously doubt Iran would be anywhere near as dangerous as North Korea, or China. But then again there's no Israeli pressure to attack N. Korea.
Also, every country has very questionable acts going on, interesting how much the US cares about women's rights in Iran right now when they let worse things slide with their allies and in their own country. As long as you benefit the US economically you are just a good but troubled nation, but the moment you decide not to play their game you are an evil dictatorship with WMDs that needs to be stopped.
We've seen this Hollywood movie many times before in the last 50 years.
And Iran wont be the last either, just watch how a new scare pops out once Iran has fallen and their oil reserves secured for the US and Israel.
Probably Mexico since it's close and cheaper to conquer.

Uh, you do realize who you're talking about right?
Iran might not have as large a military, but they are just as if not more dangerous than China or N.K.
Sorry, but I don't trust the Persians as far as I can spit. It's a total joke that Turkey is supposed to be our biggest ally in the region, when they're the ones who founded the more extremist views of Islam (I'm not talking about terrorism or the perversion of Jihad - that shit was started in Egypt).
Religious nuts with nukes = far, far more dangerous than secular nuts with nukes.
