What I got for christmas? Nothing. I don't like it when people give me things, makes me feel like I owe them something in return. So therefore the feeling is neutral if nobody gives me anything. :D

Suprisingly I had quite a few items for baking. Considering I only bake for others because I very rarely eat sweet stuff. I think it's a sign people actually like what I've been baking.
Here's what I got.
A giant cookie cake mould.
A Big teddy bear cake mould & a baby bear one.
A heart shaped cake mould.
A mini cupcake maker that looks like the Enterprise in pink
A book on cake designs.
A book on sugarcraft.
A mould to produce sugar roses.
A set of sugarcraft tools.
A set of leaf design plunger/cutters for icing.
A set of flower design plunger/cutters for icing.
A sugarcraft rolling pin.
An Icing syringe.
A giant cupcake mould.
FCUK aftershave.
David Beckham aftershave.
The cheap but nice aftershafe I keep in my work locker "other half knew I wanted to get another"
A nice top to wear with a strange neck but I love it.
A grey hoody with sparkly bits on it.
A shirt and jumper combo thingy that's quite smart.
And my aunt/ mum's best friend. Her mother is registered blind but she's extremely independant. Every year she makes me the most amazing mince pies.

If I manage to find good ingredients that is. It can be difficult to find stuff here sometimes and I don't really like spending too much time at the market (hate the place) so if I don't find what I'm looking for fast I make something simpler and go back to playing Skyrim.

I've found that my baking has started to save me money.
I make pastry and prepare pies, savoury tarts and I freeze them until I want them.
I think it's alot healthier than the pre-made things you can buy in the shops.
my favourite thing to make recently is what I call "mediteranian tarts" I make a batch of puff pastry "the one that fluffs up and is flaky" Then I roll it very thinly and as evenly as I can to about the thickness of a thin-ish mousemat. then I cut squares about 5inches x 5inches. Then score a "frame" about 1cm in but make sure not to cut through the pastry just make a deep cut/groove. then inside smear tomato purree or passatta and crated cheese, mushrooms, your favourite ham/bacon, Think of it as a pizza that mated with the lid of a pie lol.
then take how many you want and freeze the rest they last a couple of weeks.
Brush the edges with a beaten egg and bake at about 200 / pizza temperature for 25-30 mins till golden and puffy.
They make great party snacks too but that's basically my comfort food I've been feasting on.
Baking has really made me be a little more adventurous with my food. I lived on junk food before and now most things I make a fresh.
It's odd to think that originally making cupcakes for my neices birthday party would change my life so much.
I still have a long way to go, I'm in need of cooking skill. Before, My method of cooking was apply heat & pray

I only saw Rainbow Dash shirts when I dropped in to Hot Topic to pick up shirts for my presents to others (my dad a Doctor Who shirt in a Large that ended up being too small, and my brother a black dubstep shirt; unbeknownst to me was that he had gotten sick of black shirts lately). There were, like, three of them, too. You'd have thought that she was the only Pony on the show or something . . .

However much I am actually smart, I got that way by confronting how stupid I am.

Same here, ever since I started taking cooking more seriously and getting the proper utensils I'm eating healthier and better. And while I'm not anywhere near a cook's skill it's nice once you start minding things like the way you cut things or choosing better ingredients.
Plus it's waaaay cheaper than buying prepared food. d(^^d)
PS > I'd take cooking lessons.... but that would cut into my Skyrim time. <_<;
