I hardly believe you thoroughly wash all of food with the proper materials, whether it comes straight from the vine or in frozen bag form. (Including the food you get at restaurants / fast food chains.)

Did you know its acceptable in the US to have a certain % of Rat and Bug and Excrement in your food?

Do you think the tests for these %s are thorough? They don't (and can't) test ALL the food, so a % of the food they test may have a % of shit in it and youre gladly filling your face with it daily.

And what about the food that roaches crawled on but eventually left, or even mice, or even food that had a % of shit in it but was just "cleaned" and then packaged and shipped into your fridge?

You're out of your mind if you think you're eating 100% clean and fresh lettuces, its either full of pesticides or bug shit, or dirt.
