Was it Newt who deep-throated his foot on Meet the Press, then changed his story on what he really meant three times and preemptively called anyone who directly quoted him a liar: KTH: Gingrich tries to clean up Medicare mess – Anderson Cooper 360 - CNN.com Blogs

Or was it this mom who either lied about injecting her 8-year old daughter in the face with botox to make 200 bucks on the fake story, or lied about lying about the whole thing to get CPS to give her child back in spite of her actually botoxing her in the face: The RidicuList: Faux-tox mom – Anderson Cooper 360 - CNN.com Blogs

politicians lie for a living, this is to be expected.

Mothers giving their daughters body issues at an early age? Bit worse to me, as that's usually something left up to the media to do.

Its expected that other children will be terrible as they don't have emotional maturity yet. Parents are supposed to tell their kids those aren't good people to have as friends.

Not all parents are perfect, but this is a case where there's a parent that is not good for their child at all.

I have to go with Newt. There are potentially millions of stupid people out there who will believe everything he says & who will vote for him, thus giving him an even broader stage & more power.

The lying botox mom is an obnoxious bitch, but in two weeks nobody will know who she is.

I have to agree with this. Want callous... so what the mom is either a liar and/or a child abuser? One child grows up twisted and needs therapy. Newt has millions of supporters who actually believe his lies. One is a meaningless to me and many many others... the other is potentially running for president (though I don't think he has a shot in hell).

Oh I meant that as a general statement, not just with regards to children - Girls are horribly cruel to each other, particularly in highschool. This kid doesn't need her mother giving her an early start

The funny thing is, Newt was actually right the first time, but in today's Republican Party you can't tell the truth about another Republican if it's unflattering.

When you're not allowed to say the party is too extreme, the result is inevitably that it gets more and more extreme... Republicans used to have some good ideas if they were reasonable about them, but when *Newt frickin' Gingrich* isn't conservative enough for you, you have a problem.

And the presidential election will ultimately be a liar versus a lair who is currently president. The president is nothing but a figurehead with handlers, no matter what his party is. The time of great and inspiring presidential leaders has passed. They are controlled now and have been for many decade before you or I were born.

Obama was a great showman, so were Bush Jr. and Clinton for a time. They did what they were told to do, though. You think Obama is suddenly budget-conscious because he gives a shit about you? He didn't seem to care two years ago.

His party realized they're now in deep shit with voters and its time to start singing the refrain the republicans have under a slightly different context - budget cuts so long as they can keep their little social programs and get people riled up about useless issues like abortion or gay marriage.

They don't give a shit about making them stronger or making them happen respectively, they just care that such issues help them keep the ball rolling. Its a game. You think they give a shit about legalizing these illegal immigrants either? They go back and forth on this so much because they know it would only get them short-term gains.

They might be popular with the Hispanic community for one election, given much of that community is religious, conservative and very business-minded. In the long run, a lot of them are republicans waiting to happen.

So legalizing them is just another toy issue. Because demorcrat or republican, its just a game to them. Playing the game is all these geriatric, overfed fucks know how to do because few of them have ever held a real job in their lives. Some got lucky ones, some were born in to rich families - they don't know the world, they just want to put on a really convincing show for you.

The only real hope for out system is to elect younger people who don't want to make a career or a game of being a politician and set stronger term limits. If you are able to move into your eighties and you vote like its the 1960 sixties, you're doing a massive disservice to anyone with an actual job. Its 2011, go retire, you have nothing to offer..

As for Obama, he's trying to look like he's in control, but he knows he's getting almost nothing of what he wants for the next year and even if he got re-elected, he'd just be enjoying living on the taxpayer dollars for four more years while enjoying an encore performance.

Gingrich - he should stick to what he's good at. History videos and books. Get out of politics. You had your time and there are too many faults to find in someone who ever held the House Majorty leader position than anything. Even Obama and other potential runners don't have that many faults to probe as Gingrich does.

God knows if Nancy Pelosi ran people could be voting for a Botox mom. I think she actually runs on the stuff, given there's very little of her face that isn't loaded with it.

Don't even get me started on Boener, that twit a massive failure already. Totally anemic.

This is true. It's the way he handled it that's despicable: trying to recast his statement and change what he said multiple different times, casting blame in just about every direction, absurdly stating that anyone who used that clip would be lying about him ... If his initial statement represented his real beliefs and he had stuck to his guns, I would have had a lot of respect for that. Not enough respect to overshadow his casting stones with such fervor at Bill Clinton's infidelity while he himself was in the middle of an affair, but some.

Eh you lost me with that second part. There is zero doubt in my mind, that Obama honestly cares. He's probably one of the most caring presidents you ingrates have ever had. But the problem is in with the 1st part of what you said - it's all controlled, probably by the Mafia. And if anyone needs proof of that just look at JFK...

They propped up his father, then helped JFK get elected. He (mistakenly) thought he could fight back though, and take them on. No, they're supporting Obama and reducing the debt because they're fully aware now of the repercussions - It's not exactly good for business if the whole Country and possibly the world economy tailspins into another great depression.

IMO, Barack ran an honest campaign and still wants to what he can, but then "reality" kicked in once he got into office. Better off scrapping the whole damn thing and starting over again.
