Re: Official Bored at Work / Off-Topic Chat Thread II
HALP.
Okay so I didn't make the deadline to get into the college I wanted to for this upcoming semester. Reapplied for the summer term and all is well, but I really don't want to take time off because of forward momentum, etc. Unfortunately, the school I'm transferring from doesn't have my program but has a similar program. I'm going into Secondary Education - English and the school I came from has Elementary Education. So there are two (yes, only two) classes with the same exact course numbers at both schools, and both being Florida State universities, are thus interchangeable. (See, at least Florida does something right.)
Only one of them is being offered for the Spring term at SPC (old school) so I could conceivably just take it and at least be working toward something. But since I'm under VA benefits, that wouldn't get me to the minimum credit hour requirement (12) in order to qualify for VA this term. Fine, whatever, I'll pay out of pocket then if I decide to do it - it's $356.10 for three credit hours, which is actually not bad when you compare a lot of other colleges/universities.
My problem is I just don't know if I should go to the trouble to re-enroll at a school I'd basically left only to take just one class and then leave again. Oh, and orientation to enter the College of Education is tomorrow, and mandatory, if I choose to go. So I have to make this decision probably by end of business today.
And I really just don't know what to do. :/
Advice?

Actually just gonna do it. I can afford it, it won't conflict with work, and at least I'm still making progress (however small it may be) toward my degree.
