Please tell me the 7" is a circumference and not a diameter or heaven forbid a radius because JESUS. I am assuming that the 7 is the girth dimension because 12" would be horrifying even as a circumference. Although now that I think of it, wouldn't 12" in length be enough to start damaging some internal organs? AUGH. What the fuck.

Seriously, Aks. Get help. Maybe you can handle this on your own, but maybe you can't and you know you don't want to, and frankly it's dangerous to keep trying. You know better than anyone how close you've come. Don't keep taking that risk. I understand not wanting to shell out to cure a smoke detector phobia, but this is a big deal. You're better broke than dead. Maybe somebody at the office can tell you where you might get some financial assistance for dealing with it.

Quite honestly, I already feel better just getting it off my chest. I just need to feel like someone is listening to me.

And in the end, I officially make about $400 less a month than I need from top to bottom, so there's just no wiggle room for any type of help. I am, however, calling a financial adviser tomorrow. USAA offers them for free since I'm a member. Hopefully they can help me come up with a financial solution that doesn't involve selling my body on a street corner.

I really just want to leave town more than anything. I feel like I've worn out my welcome here, which sucks, because I genuinely like Florida. But I moved here four years ago and I have a total of two friends I talk to regularly, and I have no way of really meeting new people. I'm not sure that moving would solve that, though, and I think I just need to resign myself to the thought that I'm probably just going to have to get used to being mostly by myself. And it's a hard thing to come to terms with. If I could afford a dog, I'd get one. I know a dog would cheer me up. Just tired of coming home and no one really being here to come home to. Tired of being alone.

I don't think moving will fix that. Maybe I should talk to my friends about this.

In grim times like this....Aks, I know we don't get along (or I assume so) so from my own perspective, here's just a video. I can't say much, but this video sums up I guess what I wanted to say.

maybe you should look into teaching English abroad. not kidding, you can save a fair chunk of change, and spending time overseas will get you to at least see life differently. You don't really have a lot to lose. In many places, simply being white will get you noticed; outside those, being American will still draw people to you.

But if you feel like Mexico, you should probably do it. I really don't see any reason not to. Don't be impulsive, but there's nothing wrong with taking your life down a radically different path. Look at life as an RPG; stats matter, sure, but if the story sucks it's kind of pointless.

I have honestly almost been considering going back into the military. I'm just worried I'd have to go back into Basic, which I don't think I can manage at my age. (Sound like an old lady, but I promise if I go to Basic now I will feel like one!) I feel like I wasted a great opportunity while I was still in the Army to travel throughout Europe while I was stationed in Germany.

And truly the only reason I would go to Mexico is because my kids are there - if it weren't for them, I'd go pretty much anywhere else.

I do wonder just how much it would take to uproot my life and move all the way to Mexico. I'm sure I could stay with my ex-husband's family until I got on my feet, but where would I put all of my stuff? I guess I could rent a POD or something. I'd really have to look into it. At this point, as much as I love Florida and as much as I didn't like Texas (neutral with Mexico but I'd end up in Texas often enough), there's not much holding me here anymore.

I do think I should consider talking to some of my friends about this. I don't know how they'd react. I don't know if they'd try to get me to stay here or if they'd be supportive or if I even really want to leave that badly in the first place. I guess I don't know what I want right now. Blehghaghg I hate feeling like this. I can't be mad at my coworker for stirring up all these feelings but ... dammit. I was doing so well.

Also, if I move again, this will be the fourth time I've uprooted and moved halfway across the country. It hasn't fixed everything yet.

Florida and Texas are garbage states; try Maryland, DC, or Virginia.

Also, donuts for lunch. Awwww yea.

There's nothing for me in any of those states though. When I moved here four years ago, I was moving for school and for a (now ex) boyfriend, stayed because I liked it here.

Moving to Texas is just like moving to Mexico, and you all know why I would bother going there.

Also, fuck going back up north. I can't deal with the cold anymore. I am cold inside my apartment right now, and it's 68 degrees outside. In Pennsylvania that was shorts weather, around here, that's hoodie and jeans weather. I'm only wearing shorts right now because maintenance woke me up and I'm planning to go back to bed for a few more hours.

Which brings me to the fact that maintenance came to fix my smoke detector. Not entirely sure that it wasn't working, but when I can't even use my toaster without it going off, something's wrong. Oh, and it beeped really loudly - just once - and scared the hell out of me at about 4:30 this morning, and I didn't go to bed until nearly 9 AM because of it. Which I think was a sign that something wasn't right, because instead of cooking, like I had been the last several times it went off, I was just sitting on the sofa, playing WoW.

Why not make a list of pros and cons for each possible future and see what you get. Don't write fantastically about it, either. Write down realistic pros and cons. That's a good way to start off.

I've spent the last hour calling ever creditor I have in hopes of reducing some of my monthly payments. So far, the truck company was able to help me, and Sallie Mae (amazingly) was able to help me. The others were such small decreases like $5 or $8 that I'm not sure the savings would be worth what I'm giving up. They are options, though.

I still have to call USAA and speak with them, they're the last one. And if the leasing office will let me pay my rent on the 5th when I get paid again, I can avoid an overdraft fee with my bank. If not, well, I'll work something else out. Those $35 fees are killing me.

Also, eating Ramen. FTW? I guess? I've resolved to eat cheaper, so I'm going to try to inject Ramen into my diet a bit more frequently.

$5 or $8 isn't much, depending on how often that saving is coming in. Once a month? Not really worth it unless it's something you don't really use.

                                Also, this made me chuckle:

In order to accurately measure penis size, first you must have an erect penis (since penis size when flaccid is not an accurate measurement). How you choose to accomplish this task is up to you. But we can’t move any further in determining penis size until your penis has assumed the proper position!

Yes, once a month. One of those things was the insurance plan for my phone, which I just know if I drop the plan I will fuck up my phone the next day. And I like plain-jane Ramen with just the seasoning stuff on it, so I'm sure I save a buttload of money just by eating it out of the package.
