      Sadly "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" and "Are you sure it's plugged in?" are going to be the solutions to 90% of the things people call you about.

        Fun fact: I just solved an issue today by unplugging things rather than plugging them in.

        Networking is bizzaro world.

          I would hope that you guys are aware that I'm not that stupid.

          I have a new laptop though, I'm getting used to Windows 8 and currently in the process of setting up Firefox the way I want it, tabs and all. After Firefox will be to download WoW and begin the patch process.

                I once solved a spectacular database error but not rolling back (didn't work), but deleting all new entries from that day. And oh look! It solved it!

                And then everyone pissed and moaned at the IT department because they had to write down people's details with pen and paper instead of entering them into the database that we took down because we had to spend the day fixing things, and we didn't want new entries causing any more issues.

                Also whoever designed the database system that we used should have been dragged into the street and shot for writing it. You can't go a week without something going wrong with it.

                        I'm perfectly content with WoW for the time being, so I really can't see myself playing another MMO. Though I did say once upon a time that if I got a machine that can run XIV I would try it, not sure I still want to.

                        Guess I'll wait on reviews for the reboot.
