I saw a BSOD the other day on a friend's comp. Didn't know those still existed.

I get those relatively frequently. Mostly when it's warmer in here and I'm running something with heavy 3D, but occasionally out of the blue just on the desktop. I think maybe my RAM is slightly damaged.

That's just Fox twisting the news. The problem is that it wasn't included in the first place, and, now that it is, it's confined to a single planet. It's ridiculous.

The terminology makes it sound more dire than it is. Basically they're not going to go back and re-do the whole main questline to include it, so they're just going to include it in an expansion pack. It's akin to raising a fuss over same sex relationships not showing up until say...Treasures of Aht Urhgan. It's not segregating it to a server, it's just something that didn't show up until a given expansion.

Yeah they're raising the level cap in the expansion with the new planet and instead of having to redo the entire story, they are adding it on with the new companion stuff.

Fox News on the other hand is just being Fox News.

Good movie. Pacing was a bit awkward, and there were some parts that were just downright silly, but overall I like what they did with it.

It was fun, but I still have no idea if it was good.

The highlight of the movie for me was probably the cinematography in the opening with Smaug. There are so many studios out there who would have taken the opportunity to shove that dragon in our faces as much as possible rather than hide it for the sake of pacing and effect. I appreciate things that build suspense when monsters are involved. It's important.

I enjoyed the mystery of Smaug's appearance as well. I also liked how powerful they made him seem by demonstrating how effortless it was for him to take over the city. Futile Dwarven defenses are futile!

...I barely saw the first LOTRO. I feel lost. I'm also a bit baffled at what FoxNews is trying to do with that story. Are they pretending to be in favor or being passive aggressive with it?
