I haven't played any open world games other than Minecraft. You're probably right, but you still wouldn't buy an SSD to try to increase your FPS during normal gameplay like that dude Fliegar was arguing with claimed.

My new years was fucking fantastic. Won a PS Vita from bingo. It was one of the prizes oddly enough and I won it! Went to MA with some friends, go wasted (responsibly) and booked ourselves a room at the Sheraton Hotel. Stayed at the Sheraton, one of the guys who worked there opened up a Ball Room for us to use. We hooked up two consoles to the big screens they used every year for Anime Boston and played Monster Hunter Tri on the first one and then for old times sake Guitar Hero 3 on the other. We had that room filled within the 2nd or so hour of people going at it on GH. At around 11 at night we stopped using the room and went back to our own room. My friend then hooked us up on a 4 v 4 Lan party on Minecraft and we had fun on a new map called Drunken Architects, I got killed about 4 times by a Creeper. My friend was even bold enough to make it into a drinking game.

1. Last the build a house, ( 2 windows, 5 high roof, a bed and two torches). - Take a drink and a shot of vodka
2. Last to craft a full set of iron armor - 2 Shots and a Jaeger Bomb)
3. Blown up by a Creeper - Jaeger Bomb
4. Survive a Creeper Blast - 1 Shot
5. First to find Diamond or Gold - Make whoever you want take either a shot or a Jaeger Bomb

Overall it was a very fun night for me. We then stepped outside the hotel at midnight and my friend went out and bought sparklers and we just celebrated by playing anime music and goofing around in front of the sheraton. We even handed out our sparklers to some of the kids who wanted some.

I know people who eagerly await flu season every year, since it helps them lose weight. Bizarre to me. Then again, there's people that purposely go out and get HIV, too. So, what do I know?

I'd have rather done it the right way, but hey, if I had to be sick anyway, I'll take the consolation prize.

I was totally going to get my flu shot this year, too, (I never do) but it just kept getting forgotten about.

Then again, there's people that purposely go out and get HIV, too. So, what do I know?

I think people try to get diseases for the attention, I can't really imagine any other reason. Unless they want to die, but really, there are better ways to go if you want to die.

Ways to die? Or diseases? Either way, I don't know.

Change of subject: I'm considering getting a dog. A little one, since I live in a shoebox, and probably an adult since I can't train a dog with my work schedule. I'll have to get a dog who is already trained to not go in the house and will be able to wait for me to get home from work. But I've been thinking about it a lot.

There's a relatively small group of people that go around "collecting" as many STDs as they can. Also another group that spreads HIV on purpose. And again, some gay guys prefer to just get it, that way they don't have to worry about it.

I used think the same thing, but then one year I got the Satan flu that had me out of work for like a month, so I figure anything that can reduce the odds of that happening is worth getting a mini-flu from.
