    It's pretty fun, but you'll need a party to get most of the stuff done, and for that you need Japanese. =/

          The 日本人 will probably not even want to bother with you if you can't talk to them proficiently, as well.

            From my experience is more about being able to understand the strategy they are following for X mission. You can stay completely silent and they will not be bothered as long as you play well, but if you don't understand what's going on and mess things up it can be a big problem. <_<;

              When I read your post I had just finished dealing with a similar complaint which was not trolling, so I had to take it seriously.

                  Stupid iPad predictive text "corrects" words that I spelled fine and then let's crap like "seeriously" through. Wtf :p

                  On a different note, I appreciate there being somebody around here who is raunchier than I am. Makes me feel clean.

                    This is why I don't use Apple Products. Android doesn't have that issue.

                      You can turn it off, just a lot of people don't.

                      My phone will correct words that require apostrophes in texts (cant to can't, for example) and auto capitalizes the first word of a sentence, but if I misspell some shit I'm on my own. Though with texts, I just use the "fat finger" excuse because I'm more concerned with speed over accuracy.

                        It's necessary a lot, because without physical keys to feel and guide my fingers, I end up missing the correct keys a lot which it usually handles like a champ. But when it does mess up, damn it's annoying.

                        I'm sure if I was growing up with this technology it would be no problem. For my daughter I bet a physical keyboard will feel as clunky as an old mechanical typewriter. But if I ever have to type on one of those holographic keyboards that are so popular in sci fi now, it'll be a mess. Hopefully by the time we have that level of technology, we'll have AIs that can reliably take dictation.

                          I know what you mean. I have to feel the keys to type properly. I type really fast so anything that slows me down drives me insane. I could never use an iPad or tablet keyboard. I'd have to get an external USB keyboard. At which point, I may as well just keep my laptop.

                            I doubt it. The only way I can foresee traditional keyboard typing being functional on a touchscreen is if we get some sort of newfangled cover material that can alter its texture on command so you can feel the keys under your fingers.

                            I don't even try on my cell phone. I use 8pen.

                              I have a sliding keyboard for my phone which I use most of the time but I know that technology is going away with probably the next generation of phones (actually I had trouble finding the one I have), so I'll have to get used to the touch screen texting. So from time to time, I use the touch screen to text, but damn, it slows me down so much. Drives me nuts.

                                Touchscreen or Traditional, I took typing classes in high school and from there I just adapted it to Touchscreen. For me it was about memorizing the keys, not the actual physical aspect. However I also listen to the little "tick tick tick" sound when using a touchscreen. As for the whole "feeling" thing. There are some phones that vibrate when you touch the keys.
