        Actually, the article suggested it was more about drownings; due to middle aged workers coming home drunk and passing out. Keep in mind Japanese tubs are significantly deeper than most in the west. Still, the point is that anywhere where you're dying more in the bathtub than in traffic has to be a pretty goddamn awesome place.

        And yes, I've asked Korean friends about that, they always get super embarassed and try to change the subject.

        Another fun Korean fact: All Korean households have two refrigerators. The first one they use for all of the normal fridge things, the second one is for the exclusive use of kimchi.


        I'm not making this up, but I still can't believe they aren't.

        Also in Taiwanese news: magazines with fully dressed women. You scan a QR code, and then when you sweep over them with a smart phone/tablet camera, the under-image appears on the screen. Or even static pictures replaced with videos of women dancing about.

                  One of my coworker's bank accounts got frozen because he forgot to pay Sallie Mae last month. Don't mess with Sallie. She always gets what's coming to her.
