I only really have two friends irl, one that I see on a regular basis, and another I hang out with once a month or so.

I don't like Deving friends irl really. To me, they are just a hassle. Drama, canceling plans, and other such stuff.

I would rather have acquaintances than friends irl.

Three or four? It starts out as good or better than the first series was after they picked up Toph. So good.

It's a good thing I have Digimon to satiate my appetite for animated adventures right now.

My sister's been bugging me to watch the pilot episodes for the new Avatar show for months, and I keep refusing to. That show, and presumably its sequel, is the kind of thing you want to be able to sit down and watch in large chunks. If I had to wait a week between episodes and then even longer between seasons, I'd go crazy and it would just turn me off from the whole thing.

Holy hell, man. All the dismembered and decomposing corpses in this first GoT episode combined do not evoke the same level of distaste I have for this Viserys guy. Also yes, lots of boobies. Though I think the posteriors have been of higher quality.

Finished season 1 last night. What happens to Viserys pleases me, but Cercei, Joffery and Jaime still need to die in agony.

I'm thinking I should probably read the books. You can show me why I should hate someone in two minutes, but showing me why I should care about someone takes longer, and I get the feeling that compressing the book into the show has resulted in me caring about the non-Sansa Starks a lot less than I otherwise would. If I knew them in real life I'm sure I'd think they were awesome people, but the only character I really look forward to seeing is the imp, and I'm much more invested in him and Daenerys than the Stark children.

I think that's the way the show / plot was designed. Slowly but surely you see the imp taking the place of Stark... I see him becoming the main protaganist.
