I started watching a bit of Queen's Blade myself, and I have to say it's... I wasn't really expecting something to this extent. Is there much of a story besides having an excuse to tear off each other's clothes? D:

I think I watched about 3 episodes of Queen's Blade, and the impression I got was there was just enough character development, plot, and gratuitous nudity to leave me frustrated and unsatisfied on all counts.

Not really. They try so hard to convince you that they aren't falling into the old DBZ powering up trope, but that's pretty much all they do. I thought the concept had potential, but it was poorly handled. It's not a bad show, but it could have been awesome and it left me quite irritated. They really didn't do themselves any favors when they started pulling the Love = Deus Ex Machina bullshit after writing themselves into a few corners.

Thing is after the battle in the North they went in a different direction from the manga for the sake of finishing the anime series right there. If you noticed something odd after a lot of awesomeness that was it. In the Manga Raki never finds out about crazy girl, and doesn't meet Claire, not to mention in the manga he becomes quite a capable fighter instead of continuing wimping around like a bug. Etc. etc.

Ok, so maybe I should look into picking up the manga, but the anime collapsed on itself like a house of cards. But then again, if I want a good monster slaying manga, I just reread Berserk.
