I did, because it is simply... Just, fun. How hard is that to understand? Its fun, because it is... fun. I like it, I enjoy it, its something I like to do.

As for the conventional idas... that stuff is all true. I may dress differently, and do some wierd things, but I have my morals, and my views.

Ok, ok, but why is it that you don't feel like yourself if you can't do it? There are a lot of things I find fun, but nothing so central to my identity that I feel like I'm only expressing my real self when I'm doing it.

Because what people do for fun and what people use as identifiers are basically different.

Costume = fun. Fun is fooling around.

You however are saying you identify yourself as an animal.

Why is a slinky fun when you are younger?

Why was playing in dirt fun?

Why are video games fun?

Fun for one person, is not what fun is for another person. To me, it is just, fun. Just plain, fun. Do I HAVE to have a reason to enjoy something? Do I HAVE to have a reason why something is fun? Hell, I stay up all night long, JUST BECAUSE I CAN. No other reason, just because.

Slinky is fun because it moves in a weird way and it's not something you see every day. Also, the sound.

Playing in the dirt is fun because it's like clay that you can find everywhere.

Video games are fun because you take on the persona of someone else and do things you can't do in real life, often in a stylistic way.

WHY something is fun is generally pretty easily defined.
