I think hats need to come back into fashion, any type of hat really. Along with a general idea that looking like a slob is not a good thing.

There are lots of hats to choose from, they just have to be found online. Which kinda sucks, you have to keep making guesses what will look good with your face and jackets.

I am so on board for bringing hats back. I miss wearing my bucket hat everywhere for everything, and some additional options would be nice.

The problem with hats is, too many people think they look good in hats when they actually do not. What we then end up with is "that guy" who wears hats to be different.

I'm all for a well made, well fitting hat that is appropriate to the occasion or setting. But not a lot of people are able to figure out what that actually is and what it means.

I'm all for a well made, well fitting hat that is appropriate to the occasion or setting. But not a lot of people are able to figure out what that actually is and what it means.

Part of that is because our society no longer has any hat awareness. Hats aren't common anymore so people don't know what is and is not appropriate anymore.

As for people who don't look good in hats, the same could be said about nearly every article of clothing. You're always going to get people who don't know they look dumb and can't figure out when to wear stuff.

Just about anyone can dress well and for their body type, even if they have a somewhat unusual body type. Most people just don't bother.
