Part of me is glad and amazed (for obvious reasons) it's been uploaded full on Youtube, and not taken down and/or region restricted.

But then I remember it's the Pony show and just think Why?! Why can't they let people upload anime too?!! orz



Ah well anyway, I watched like 10 mins or so of it before reaching my limit, that should count for something, right?

Because as far as Hasbro is concerned the show is nothing more than a glorified commercial for their toys, so uploads on youtube are just free advertising to them. Only problem is their official merchandise mostly looks like cheap knockoffs that only superficially resemble the characters from the show.

I guess that makes sense, but then they are completely screwing up their profit by not releasing proper Pony figurines in addition to their toys.

Considering how many bronies are out there and how much fans are willing to pay for these figures (if they are of good quality) it could be a very profitable enterprise.

Yes and no, I'm not actually worried about seeing anime on YouTube since I have plenty of sources to get it. My peeve is more about things like anime openings and other related videos that get taken down faster than I can post about them.
