I'm pretty sure that's exactly what every kid did eventually. It was a grudge match and beating down your rival's starter with your starter was just something you had to do as a matter of pride.

It's not like they've ever acknowledged Pokemon Yellow as being canon.

Yellow was "Pokémon anime: the game." Whereas Origins is "Pokémon game: the anime."

I was that unadventurous kid that always went for Super Effective OHKOs and felt good just demolishing an opponent who didn't have the AI to switch properly. And just prayed when he sent out Alakhazam.

Nowadays, I do try to use a Pokemon that I feel is an "equal" to whatever the game sends at me. But unfortunately, the game's AI will always hamper it compared to a living, breathing player...

...unless it's Aegislash (and, in random matches, it's way too often). Then all bets are off. Garchomp or Ninetales goes out.

On a conference call which has one person's screen being capped to give a demonstration.

They're using IE with toolbars that take up nearly two inches of space and it's driving me insane. I can understand IE because for some reason workplaces seem to love it, but get those awful toolbars off. Please.

People genuinely do not understand about how they install that bloatware nor how to get rid of it. Some people are utterly helpless when it comes to something as basic as managing toolbars on the browser.

How long should I wait before calling somebody after a first date? I asked her when I could call her and she listed what days she had off from work, and one of those days is tomorrow. I want to call her, but I don't want to be super forward about it.

Calling her tomorrow would be be fine.

I always called my dates the day after. Just because you call them the day after doesn't mean you are being super forward it... Calling the day after to let her know you had a good time is thoughtful. Girls like thoughtful and caring guys. If for whatever reason a girl doesn't like a thoughtful and caring guy, then fuck that bitch, you deserve better.

Now keep in mind I dont think the call the day after is to ask her out again on a date, that could be too forward and make you seem like you are trying to monopolize her time. I would wait 2-3 days to ask her out on another date, but calling the day after is not a problem.

So my boyfriend is heading off to Rome with a good female friend of his for about a week, for his PhD program. I'm house-sitting for him to take care of his dogs and bird while he's gone. I know I shouldn't, but I'm getting jealous/worried feelings even though there's no rational reason for me to feel that way because I know that they are friends.

Am I crazy? Y/N

Also, this is 1 year since our the officer at my old job was KIA, so this day is just a mess of bad feels. :/

Not crazy, but realize these feelings are unfounded and try not to act on them, or think about them. Find something else to occupy your time. Watch some movies.

Oh yeah. I'm not saying anything to him, that would ruin his trip, and I don't want that. I want him to have a good time, and his reason for bringing his friend is because she took care of his mother several years ago when she was dying, so this is his way of thanking her for being a good friend.

His phone has an international plan so I can continue to text him like I normally would, I just won't get all crazy. I mentioned that I'm jealous that he's going to freaking Rome, but not that he's taking his friend and not me (because tbh I wouldn't be able to take off that many days of work anyway).
