Taiwan, was thinking Thailand because I had a friend that taught English in Japan for a couple years and he went to Thailand for while he was there. I get that they're different, well I kinda get it anyway.

Japan speaks Japanese, and is full of weird anime and manga style shit.

Taiwan speaks mostly Mandarin, partly Taiwanese, and is full of weird third world style shit.

When I lived in Pasadena and was working as a territory manager, the majority of my clients were Chinese and I attended many a Chinese lunches / celebrations / dinners, and I ate some good stuff... Some would make the average American gross out. (chicken feet, jelly fish, shark fin, etc...) But i loved the Chinese culture and their food...
